Thaïs - Toronto Symphony Orchestra

Music that tempts and beguiles. Sir Andrew Davis conducts Jules Massenet’s exotic, sensual Thaïs in concert—a French operatic masterwork composed at the turn of the 19th century, featuring acclaimed Canadian soprano Erin Wall. She “could be heard delivering a series of lightning-bolt high C’s, the culmination of a powerful presence,” says Boston Classical Review.

The cast also features Lucas Meachem as Athanaël, Andrew Staples as Nicias, Nathan Berg as Palémon, Liv Redpath as Crobyle, Andrea Ludwig as Myrtale, Emilia Boteva as Albine, Stacey Tappan as La Charmeuse, and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.
